Browsing through some of the things that others have posted under #education varied from conversations between teachers and students that are funny and to some with teachers sharing teaching ideas or asking for help. One of the ideas I found on tumblr that might come in handy I included below. I would imagine that it would work with any play or story and serves as a good way to make sure students understand what is going on in the story or play.

I'm glad to hear it Janet! Like you, I have had my Tumblr for a while now and it never occurred to me to use it for education. I would reblig a few things here and there to remember later for teaching, but I never really thought of the site as anything more than to just find neat and funny things.
ReplyDeleteHowever, ever since TO's assignment, I have started looking and following more education blogs, as well as reading and writing ones. I think I will also keep up that Writing for Non Print blog I showed to the class so feel free to explore it from time to time :)

ReplyDeleteI am glad, too, that you have been able to follow other teachers. I don't have tumblr, but may now look into it. I have a pinterest, but most of the educational links are for elementary. Let us know if your tumblr is something you would like to share so we can all network. If not, I understand that you want to keep it private.
